The Hideaway Legends –This is WHY We Ride!

This ride wasn’t about miles on the odometer — it was about showing up for our community.

The Hideaway Legends were proud to donate $1,800 in Uber gift cards to Child Crisis Arizona, with the funds raised by our own Legend member, Dana Burden. That support helps provide safe transportation and critical resources for kids and families when they need it most — real work, and we’re honored to stand behind it.

But there’s more to this story.

We also recently received thank-you cards from the Chrysalis toy drive we raised money for — and we’re sharing a few of those messages below because they matter.

One came from kids who had just lost their father. In the middle of grief, a simple act of kindness from strangers put smiles back on their faces.

Another spoke about surviving pure hell, and how a small moment of generosity reminded them they weren’t invisible.

Another came from survivors of domestic violence — people who found the courage to walk away, start over, and when they came to the event, left filled with joy and gratitude instead of fear.

That’s when you realize — This isn’t about bikes. It’s about brotherhood, heart, and having each other’s backs.

We’ll keep supporting Child Crisis AZ. We’ll keep backing causes like Chrysalis. And we’ll keep riding for the ones who need to know they’re not alone.
